Billund Vand og Energi provides the following services to Billund Municipality:

Drinking water – ensuring clean and healthy water for all households and businesses (Billund town only).
Wastewater treatment – environmentally friendly processing and purification of wastewater.
Waste management and recycling centres – collection of waste as well as operation and maintenance of the municipality’s recycling centres.
Rat control – effective and professional prevention and control of rats throughout the municipality.

We must be willing to measure ourselves against the market and work purposefully to be among the best in terms of efficiency and value for money.
We must listen to our customers and businesses to ensure we operate a company that meets their needs and expectations.

We must have future-proof IT systems that can keep pace with developments and continuously implement new requirements. This ensures that we remain technologically up to date and avoid large, unforeseen investments later due to a “burning platform".
IIn an uncertain geopolitical situation, cybersecurity is not optional — it is a requirement. We must prioritise it highly to protect our data, systems, and operational reliability.
Our physical installations must be designed and implemented with a focus on redundancy and robustness, so we can deliver stable service even under unforeseen circumstances.
